    The HEK293/Human NAPI-IIb Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor full length human NAPI-IIb (Gene ID: 10568), used to mimic cancer target cells. Surface expression of Human NAPI-IIb was confirmed by flow cytometry.

Cell surface staining was performed on HEK293/Human NAPI-IIb Stable Cell Line or negative control cell using anti-human NAPI-IIb antibody followed by PE anti-human IgG Fc antibody after fixation with 4% paraformaldehyde.

  • Background
    NAPI-IIb, NaPi-2b, Npt2b, or SLC34A2 enables sodium:phosphate symporter activity. Acts upstream of or within in utero embryonic development and phosphate ion transport. Located in apical plasma membrane and brush border. Is expressed in several structures, including egg cylinder; genitourinary system; small intestine; and tooth. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis. Orthologous to human SLC34A2 (solute carrier family 34 member 2). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
